Picture
Curtis Davis has been a Los Angeles Police Officer for 14 years.  His assignments include a divisional Gang Enforcement Detail, Special Problems Unit, and Crime Analysis Detail, the Information Technology Bureau Project Management Office, and the Robbery-Homicide Division Cyber Support Unit (where he is currently assigned).  Davis graduated with a degree in Intelligence Management from Henley-Putnam University, and has taught about intelligence-led policing, criminal networks, and technology at national gang conferences and to local community groups.  He has collateral duties as a Terrorism Liaison Officer and as an instructor at the Los Angeles Police Department’s ICI Advanced Gang School.  Davis is especially passionate about information-sharing across boundaries.  He believes that technology can enhance – but never replace – good old-fashioned police work.
