On October 1, 2015, LAWPOA’s Board of Directors attended the Los Angeles Police Department’s 2015 Above & Beyond Medal of Valor and Purple Heart Awards Ceremony. Hosted by the Los Angeles Police Foundation, this day of honorable recognition, paid tribute to 25 well deserved police officers who displayed exceptional acts of bravery, courage and dedication in the line of duty.
