Officer Patterson was raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and earned numerous awards for softball pitching. She graduated from California Lutheran University in 2021, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in criminology and graduated CUM Laude. Ashlee graduated with her master’s degree in law enforcement and public safety leadership from the University of San Diego in January 2025. She was appointed to the Los Angeles Police Department in 2021. After her Academy training, Officer Patterson was assigned to Topanga Division where she completed her probationary period. She then transferred to the Hollywood Division, where she worked patrol, Hollywood Entertainment District, and Hollywood Detectives. Ashlee honed her investigation skills with the completion of conducting surveillance and execution of numerous search warrants for attempted murder suspects. She is currently assigned to Mission Division Gang Enforcement Detail. Ashlee has been a member of LAWPOA and served on the maternity uniform committee before being elected Secretary. Ashlee is passionate about recruiting and promoting Women in law enforcement and animal rescue. She is the chair of LAWPOA training and promotional committee but takes pride in the development of LAWPOA firearms training program. Her priorities are officer wellness, morale, training, mentorship, and strengthening public trust in law enforcement. When she's not on duty, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her family, training with firearms, and her beloved rescue Pitbull, Gunner.”
